Luchon is a most beautiful town with approx 2,000 habitants nestling at the foot of the Pyrenees Mountains. (630m). The region is known at Haute Garonne or Midi Pyrenees in the Central South of France (Click for map)

1.5 hours drive from both Pau or Toulouse Airports makes it an easily accessible destination with the budget airlines flying to both airports. Luchon has it's own railway station, taking you North via Montrejeau and Toulouse. It also has it's own small airfield.

The town itself offers: shopping clothes, jewellery, food specialities, supermarkets, antique shops also bars, restaurants, cafe's hotels, night club, casino, open air market, Once in this fabulous location you can enjoy many of the leisure activities available: - Skiing and Paragliding in Superbagneres (1860m) Ski lift from Luchon town centre. Golf, hiking, walking, horse riding, rafting, cycling, photography, wildlife watching in the surrounding mountains and valleys. Explore some of the wonderful villages and sample the regional wines, food and specialities. This region provides activities all year round.

The Atlantic and Mediterranean are within a few hours drive and the Spanish border is 15 minutes from the town, offering wonderful Spanish cuisine, wine, skiing and mountains to explore.
